8x RTG Modernisation in Sri Lanka

Portek has performed 8xRTG modernisation works in South Asia region from September 2019 to 2020.

Scopes including

  • upgrading of controls, drive systems & CMS
  • conversion of traditional festoon system to energy chain system
  • conversion of anti-sway system from hydraulic to electric
  • conversion of trim list skew system from hydraulic to electric
  • replacement of entire electrical room, cabin, gantry yokes spindle pins, trolley rails, trolley wheels, service winch, etc.
  • overhaul servicing of gear reducers, brakes, motors, etc.
