Through its subsidiary Gabon Ports Management (GPM), Portek holds a 25-year concession (recently extended for a further 10 years until 2042). Through GPM’s activities in Gabon, Portek is proud to play an active role supporting the development of the port sector both in Owendo and Port Gentil. As an actor with a public service obligation, GPM supports the growth of various industries in Gabon, including fellow port operators in both the ports of Owendo and Port Gentil. Portek, via GPM, looks forward to playing its role in supporting the developmental goals of Gabon

Facilities (Owendo): 600m quay, 4 berths including 1 oil & gas berth, 11.2 hectares container yard, 1 hectare general cargo yard, 1.2 hectares carpark, 4000m2 warehouse

Facilities (Gentil): 450m quay, 280m fishing quay, 2 hectares containers and general cargo yard, 6000m2 warehouse

Water depth: 9.5 metres (Owendo) 11 metres (Gentil)

Key Shipping lines/customers: Maersk, CMA-CGM, PIL, MSC, Sotrasgab, SDV

Equipment (Owendo): 3 Mobile Harbour Cranes, Fleet of Reach Stackers, 2 Tugboats, 1 Mooring Boat, 2 Pilots Boats and Hydrographic Launch for Surveys

          Equipment (Gentil): Fleet of Reach Stackers, 1 Tugboats, 1 Mooring Boat
